Marketing Business Analyst

The Marketing Business Analyst will report to the Director of Data & Technology and will be highly involved in gathering client requirements and designing the business solutions. An exceptional team player with excellent communication skills, you will work closely with the consulting team on pre-sales initiatives and with the delivery and development teams to deliver successful projects.

You must have a proven track record of delivering complex projects within the Salesforce environment:

  • Integration with ERP and other systems
  • CRM experience
  • Work with large volume of data (multi-millions)

  • Use of multiple modules/features of the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Driven by performance measurement and ROI demonstration

Duties and Responsabilites

Pre-sale and business analysis

  • Work closely with the consultant group to identify project opportunities and promote Relation1’s service offerings
  • Document statements of work in collaboration with consultants
  • Identify the business requirements and propose the appropriate solution and work with the development team to produce the effort estimates
  • Performing market watch for Marketing Cloud technology offering
  • Participating in the Salesforce Partner network to be up to date with new features and best practices

Project execution

  • Design the overall solution architecture based upon the business needs and requirements
  • Establish technical specifications to be implemented by the development team
  • Participate in the delivery and monitoring of the solutions with the development and operation teams
  • Identify and implement the key performance indicators to measure the programs success
  • Execute consulting projects
  • Training R1 and clients staff on SFMC and delivered business solutions

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years as business analyst, software architect or software developer
  • Experience in enterprise system integration
  • Deep understanding of email marketing and omnichannel best practices
  • Ability to understand client needs and convert them into technical specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minded for total quality and client satisfaction

Nice to have

Tourné vers les besoins des clients, le candidat recherché doit démontrer de la rigueur et de l'autonomie. Il doit être bon communiquant, pour accompagner efficacement le client dans la compréhension du projet implanté. Il doit également être capable de comprendre les besoins d’affaires du client.

Le candidat idéal devra démontrer ses compétences dans l'analyse, l’apprentissage automatique (Machine Learning) et l'interprétation des données et être en mesure de mener un large éventail d’analyses et d’initiatives stratégiques.

La personne choisie travaillera en forte collaboration avec l’équipe de services-conseils afin de définir les modèles d’analyse qui supportent les objectifs d’affaires et qui démontrent une rentabilité supérieure. Les responsabilités comprennent également la participation à des ateliers de réflexion et à la présentation des résultats. Il saura aussi démontrer une habileté à être créatif dans l’utilisation des données au-delà des analyses descriptives classiques.

Au sein de l'équipe « Data et Technologie », le titulaire devra démontrer ses compétences en analyse de données et méthode d’apprentissages supervisés et non supervisés afin de supporter les stratégies de personnalisation, d’optimisation de parcours clients et de campagnes de communications. Il devra aussi participer activement au développement d’algorithmes prédictifs et de modèles de classification dans le domaine de l’apprentissage automatique.

  • Développer, maintenir et optimiser des modèles prédictifs et de classifications en utilisant les techniques d’apprentissage supervisé ou non supervisé issues des domaines statistiques et d’apprentissage automatiques.

As Director, Consulting Services – you will be responsible for guiding top national brands build loyal and profitable relationships with their customers.

Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables

Consulting Services

  • Provide support and expertise in digital marketing and 1:1 personalization.
  • Be our subject matter expert in telecommunication, financial services and/or retail and provide thought leadership in order to sufficiently provide value-added consulting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be an influencer that will advance the development, communication, implementation and management of strategies and business initiatives.
  • Provide in-depth professional consultation to new business specific initiatives in areas alignment with Relation1’s core mission.

Relation1 is seeking a senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) based in Toronto.

The CSM is responsible for day to day customer relationships that support our client’s multi-channel marketing activities and managing the team who directly support these activities.

They will be individually responsible for some of Relation1’s most important accounts, will need to have a strong background and understanding of operations, be able to demonstrate the business value of the team and make recommendations for changes that will drive successful customer interactions and ultimately solidify Relation1 as a trusted partner.

The senior Customer Success Manager will report to the Director, Delivery and Operations.


Duties and Responsibilities

The CSM performs a wide range of duties including the following:

  • Manage the team supporting the clients day to day marketing and service needs with a strong focus on email deployments.
  • Own, maintain and enhance the relationship with clients - act as a client advocate, achieve high client satisfaction levels, build and maintain a strong client rapport and continually provide added value.
  • Counsel clients and be the subject matter expert on the solutions and services with focus on the client programs, campaigns and reporting. Provide strategic input and insight to the client.
  • Lead internal teams to ensure the execution of programs meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Through understanding of client contract specifically focused on delivery and service including understanding of the client eco system.
  • Act as a leader and agent for execution and operational excellence, innovation and a positive work environment - Influence and implement continuous improvements.
  • Ensure the account(s) is being managed and maintained as per contractual commitments.
  • Communicate with excellence and clarity.
  • Anticipate and resolve client problems/issues.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing with clear operational background and technical experience in digital marketing production (email), HTML, web analytics and data preferred.
  • Experience working in the retail or telecommunication environment is an asset.
  • Experience delivering omni-channel personalization campaigns is also an asset.
  • University Degree in Marketing.
