Marc Poulin has been a senior-level manager in the food industry in Canada and throughout his 19 years at Sobeys Inc. held the roles of Vice-President, Purchasing and Merchandising, Executive Vice-President and Assistant General Manager (Quebec), Head of Operations for Quebec and, from 2012 to 2016, President and Chief Executive Officer.
He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Empire Company Limited from 2012 to 2016. Prior thereto, Mr. Poulin held the strategic positions of Vice-President at Groupe Vie Desjardins-Laurentienne and at Culinar and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.
Mr. Poulin holds a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science from Université Laval and a Master’s of Business Administration from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
Since September 2000, Jacques-Hervé Roubert has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Nurun, a Quebecor Media company specializing in consulting, communications and interactive technologies. Across its operations in Canada, the US, China and Europe, Nurun serves a prestigious set of international brands including L'Oréal, the DANONE Group, BRP, Canal +, Tesla, Electronic Arts, Telecom Italia, Fiat and Walmart.
Throughout his career, Mr. Roubert acquired expertise in advertising strategies, brand communication, marketing and e-commerce, and developed strong relationships with leading companies across the food, consumer goods and high consumption and distribution industries.
It is also to support these major groups with their transition to the internet that he founded Cythère in December 1995, an interactive communications agency specializing in the design of websites for internationally renowned companies such as the DANONE Group, L'Oréal, Club Méditerranée, Ricard and many others.
In January 2000, Mr. Roubert, seeking to accelerate the internationalization of his company, sold Kythère to Informission, a subsidiary of Quebecor, which later became Nurun inc.
Mr. Roubert holds a Master’s of Business Administration from E.S.S.E.C. (School of Economic and Commercial Sciences), the first European center for management training.
Michel Girard has over 30 years of experience in analysis and management of analytics teams. He held the position of Senior Director, Client Insight and Analytics at the National Bank between 2014 and 2018. Prior to joining the National Bank, Michel played leadership roles in marketing analytics at Aimia and Aeroplan between 2004 and 2014 and at Bell from 1995 to 2003.
Michel started as an institutional research analyst at HEC Montréal between 1984 and 1995. He holds a Master's degree in Statistics from Université de Montréal.
Jo is a recipient of multiple awards over her 15+ year marketing and strategy career with a consistent record of achieving breakthrough results. Core to her approach is her deep appreciation of the customer, her courage to ask difficult questions in order to understand, and her drive to innovate.
Her diverse experience in the travel, loyalty, mobile and technology fields enables her to bring a fresh perspective to solving the toughest challenges.
Prior roles include Associate VP of Marketing at FGL Sports, Regional VP of Marketing at IHG, and Director of Loyalty Optimization and Design at Aimia. Jo also spent 7 years in the telecommunications industry at Koodo Mobile and Samsung Electronics.
Jo graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster.
Kathryn’s areas of expertise include managing and consulting on proprietary and coalition loyalty rewards programs within the financial services, travel and retail industries.
She is an experienced marketing professional who has dedicated her career in creating, selling and implementing marketing growth plans for various clients across multiple sectors. With almost a decade of experience, she has a proven record of relationship building, problem solving, analytical thinking and project implementation for high profile accounts including the National Bank of Canada, HSBC, the InterContinental Hotels Group, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Cirque du Soleil.
She holds both a Bachelor’s of Commerce and Master’s of Business Administration from McGill University.
Normand Belisle is the founder of Relation1 (formerly Inpix and Ideali). He has developed extensive expertise in online business models, business transformation, and digital as well as one-to-one marketing. His solid experience and passion for organizations and consumer markets make him the go-to guy for people looking for the best advice in digital experience and personalized marketing.
He spent several years as a consultant at KPMG then moved into the media and communications space and held executive positions in traditional media, including President of Québec-Livres (book publishing and distribution) and President of Productions Pixcom (television production).
He entered the Internet industry in 1994. In 1998, he became President of Quebecor Multimedia (digital publishing and web professional services), the parent company of Nurun, which, with more than 1,500 employees, was for many years the largest digital agency in Canada.
In 2000, he founded Inpix, a digital agency providing online marketing & website development solutions. Seeing the great potential of artificial intelligence and one-to-one marketing, in 2016 Inpix became Relation1, the Canadian leader in personalized marketing.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from HEC Montreal.
Working across disciplines has brought Eric deep expertise in strategic and operations management, governance, brand revitalization and technology integration for clients in Quebec, Canada and abroad.
He has over 25 years of experience in putting new technologies to work for businesses and has spent much of his career in media and communications, initially in advertising, then at Quebecor, where one of his key achievements was setting up the corporate IT, forensic computing laboratory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance departments. He next took his talents to Transcontinental Interactif, where he held the positions of Vice-President Premedia, Vice-President Content Solutions and Vice-President Integrated Solutions Business Development.
He is a graduate of the McGill University-HEC Montreal joint MBA program.

Étienne is an expert in marketing campaign measurement and excels at sharing his knowledge with his clients and anticipating their needs.
He boasts over 10 years of experience in data-driven marketing. In recent years, he has worked in France and Canada with innovative companies that have built the customer data intelligence market. He has provided targeted marketing advice to leading brands including Procter & Gamble, Danone, BNP Paribas, l’Oréal, Jean Coutu and Desjardins.
He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from École Supérieure des sciences commerciales d’Angers.
Marco is responsible for all aspects of Salesforce engagements from developing and growing the practice to implementation and delivery, working closely and in collaboration with our Client Success and Consulting teams.
Marco has worked in the Salesforce space for multiple years and has over 10 years of experience in managing highly complex projects in the software development industry. He has experience with waterfall, PMP and Agile/Scrum methodologies and is a proven leader recognized for a high level of initiative, decisiveness and strong business acumen. He is also passionate about people development, adept at assembling, leading, and mentoring diverse teams in an organization.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the John Molson School of Business and a PMP certificate from the Project Management Institute.
Certified Black Belt Lean Six Sigma, Éric’s areas of expertise include organizational transformation and optimization of business processes, risk management and governance. He leads the Montreal team to ensure continued growth and success with our clients and is also responsible for our business transformation practice with the Montreal and Toronto consulting teams.
He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions, mainly in professional services firms, financial institutions and telecommunications firms. Before Relation1, Éric was Senior Director, Strategy and Performance at RCGT, a member of the Grant Thornton Group. Previously, he worked in London as Chief of Staff, Global CEO Office at Grant Thornton International. This experience led him to lead the strategic planning of Grant Thornton International, which has 42,000 consultants in 130 countries. He has also worked on the client side, including as Vice President, Administration and Control at National Bank Financial Wealth Management, Director, Income Management at Cogeco and Chief, Credit Risk and Billing Management at Teleglobe Canada.
He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and holds the CPA accounting designation.
Luc understands how data, technology and marketing intersect due to his expertise in loyalty and analytics and thanks to his deep understanding of the retail space. As a trusted strategist, Luc delivers proven results that help our clients respond to their loyalty and personalization needs.
Prior to joining Relation1, he held several senior marketing positions. Starting as Associate Director, Loyalty Strategy at LoyaltyOne, he helped Jean Coutu Group fully leverage the AIR MILES reward program. Next, as VP Retail for Dunnhumby (a leader in customer data science), Luc was instrumental in the launch of the Metro&moi loyalty program for Metro. Finally, as VP Strategy & Consulting Services for DataCandy (a leading loyalty platform), Luc further strengthened his knowledge of the technologies that are required to power advanced loyalty programs.

Michael has applied his deep knowledge of loyalty and CRM at Canadian Tire and The Home Depot Canada, where he played a key role in the strategic transformation of their loyalty programs. In addition to his marketing expertise, Michael has experience in Merchandising and Logistics through various roles at Canadian Tire Retail.
As a Senior Strategic Account Director at Relation1, Michael continues to guide our clients in the evolution of their loyalty strategies, B2C & B2B customer Incentive programs, and retail marketing programs.

Lisa has worked in digital for nearly two decades. Over the course of her career, she has led cross-functional teams to build data-driven marketing programs and platforms, corporate and e-commerce sites, EDW and BI solutions and integrate omnichannel solutions and campaigns for clients such as General Motors, Newell Rubbermaid, Royal Bank of Canada, Telus Mobility, Rogers Wireless, Nissan and Infiniti Canada, Audi USA, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola Canada, and Sobeys.
Lisa holds a Bachelor’s of Arts from York University and has completed professional development studies in Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, and interaction design.
Lia Grimberg has over 16 years of experience in personalized marketing, digital marketing and loyalty, in retail and financial services. Her experience spans both agency and client side.
Lia was a Divisional Vice President, Loyalty and CRM at Sears Canada and a Loyalty Consulting Director at Bond Brand Loyalty. Previously, Lia spend 5+ years at LoyaltyOne leading the R&D group and as a client lead for the Bank of Montreal. Lia has also held the position of Marketing Manager at The Home Depot and held several marketing positions at American Express.
Lia holds a BBA and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
With extensive experience in Loyalty programs and the world of technology, Lisa has developed expertise in managing projects across multiple disciplines. As the lead of our project office in Montreal & Quebec, she supervises the project managers and ensures all is in place for successful project delivery.
Always positive, with high energy, Lisa takes on all challenges head on and naturally looks for solutions tapping into her 10 years of experience as a product manager, project manager, graphic & UX/UI designer, as well as integrator in web and mobile environments.
She holds a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology from John Abbott College.
Drew is responsible for all aspects of delivery and customer success working closely and in collaboration with our Consulting team.
Drew has worked in the digital marketing space for almost 10 years working on clients ranging from some of Canada’s best known brands to small co-operatives. He has managed multi-functional teams for the last 5 years. Previously, Drew worked in the Financial Services sector and was employed by Virgin Money in the UK for several years.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with honors from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.
Zena is a CRM marketing, strategy and loyalty professional with over a decade of experience in the UK and North American industries. Starting her career as a data analyst, she has a deep appreciation for data and turning it into tangible output for clients. From data matching, propensity modelling to management reporting, getting the right information out of systems is half the battle! Building on her knowledge of data science, she has since moved into client lead, strategy and account management roles, helping clients understand what the data points mean and turning insight into actions across automotive, FMCG and recently FI verticals. She has previously worked at Proximity London, BBH, dunnhumby and Cossette.
Being an advocate for clients customers, she believe that putting the customer at the heart of business decisions and making their experiences personalized is the key to growing their loyalty and to keep them coming back.
